See all ads on AdLibrary →Lavera is a Hannover-based certified organic natural cosmetics brand founded in 1987 by Thomas Haase. One of Germany's first certified natural cosmetics companies and among its most widely distributed, Lavera is sold in dm drugstores, pharmacies, health food stores and via its own DTC webshop across 40+ countries.
Lavera runs a broad performance marketing programme across Facebook and Instagram targeting the mainstream natural beauty buyer — not the specialist, but the everyday dm shopper making a conscious switch. Ads lean on certification (NATRUE, COSMOS), affordability signals and range breadth. Co-op campaigns with dm drugstore drive both online and offline conversion. Explore their ad library at AdLibrary.
Facebook targets a broad 25-55 female audience interested in natural beauty, sustainability and wellness. Instagram is used for younger-skewing creative with influencer partnerships. The brand runs frequent promotional ads tied to dm offers and seasonal gifting. Skin care routines and ingredient education series drive content engagement.
Core copy angles: 'certified natural cosmetics', 'vegan formula', and 'effective and natural'. The brand balances efficacy and ethics — neither positioning alone is sufficient for the mainstream buyer. Range ads feature product families (face, body, hair) together to encourage basket expansion. Sustainability certifications are prominent visual elements.
Lavera shows how a natural cosmetics brand can achieve mass distribution without compromising its certified-natural positioning. The key is making certification tangible (logos, explanations) rather than leaving it as abstract ethical language. For natural brands targeting mainstream buyers: translate values into proof points at the SKU level.
