Ads focus on new arrivals, value messaging, and home styling inspiration. Browse Kmart AU ads on AdLibrary.
Facebook is Kmart AU's dominant social channel — the brand's own page and the fan community together reach millions of engaged Australians. Instagram skews younger with styling and room makeover content. TikTok product haul culture generates significant organic reach among 18-35 demographics.
Core copy themes: unbeatable value ('you won't believe the price'), home styling inspiration, new season arrivals, and the implicit promise of a great find at an everyday price. Community-facing copy often references the fan culture ('Kmart Mums approve').
Kmart AU is arguably the best example in Australia of organic fan community amplifying paid media efficiency. Their 500K+ Mums group is not a marketing-run asset — it's a genuine consumer community that the brand nurtures rather than controls. The lesson: create products worth talking about and facilitate, don't manufacture, the community.
